Buying out any of them would be a horrible decision. Just keep them for one yesr if need be.

Jarnkrok still have value in the bottom 6. No reason to ship him out if you can't get a pick at lesst.

All I am saying is to sign the four guys you need some cap space. Jarnkrok Reeves and kampf will not make or break this team.

If you look at the buyout numbers for each of those guys you will find that the savings are minimal.
They either have to be put on waivers or traded if anyone will take them.
Dubas originally signed Kampf and Jarnkrok.
Maybe he would be interested in working something out for a 5th or 6th round pick?
Leafs could retain 25% on each of them and still be way ahead of the deal.

Reaves buyout is like 450k for 2 seasons vs burying him in the Marlies would be 150k for 1 season. So there is no points buying him out.

Jarnkrok and Kampf could be replaced internally for less than half the price.
