Tor: lets Marner walk and offer sheet Rossi and Dobson.

There's only two ways I see the leafs coming out ahead this offseason,Marner is all but gone so offer sheets with the cap savings or compete as best we can and go after some big fish the following offseason that will be littered with talent.

Offer sheets are all fine and good, and I think the leafs need to find a way to pry Dobson out of Long Island, but you need draft capital to attach to an offer sheet. The leafs dont have any picks.

Shaky is right. The Leafs do not have the assets to do any offer sheet on a guy like Dobson.

They have to be your own picks as far as I know, not other teams picks.

Have to have your own picks for offer sheet compensation. We have basically none of our picks, we will not be offer sheeting anyone.
