@Hrenklin the only thing that gives me pause with domi is the fit on the leafs if he can’t be consistent and play a top 6 role then he’s kinda just a guy the other issue is they have to hide him defensively idk I don’t see him being an effective bottom six guy that’s why I thought about switching it up.

Leafs have an opportunity to put him with a selke finalist who he's had chemistry with before. Something like Domi Matthews and boeser has potential with knies JT and Nylander. The 3rd line needs to find some skill speed and constantly finishing their checks.

Domi is a good hockey player but has no defined roll that he excels at (except taking bad, poorly timed penalties)!
Domi simply doesn’t fit anywhere in the Leafs lineup and his $3.75 x 3 more year cap hit could be much better used towards acquiring a competent, 3rd line center, something Domi is not!
