Free agent signings that are something different than what I've seen

Robinson 3x3

Knies Matthews kane

Cowan domi guy

Doesn't look great but I don't think the players will be there for Toronto to grab the dna does change by adding two guys that have done the thing more than once Toews have been off for two years so him playing centre doesn't make much sense ease him into it see how it goes

Interesting lineup.
Personally i don’t care for Kane.
He is too Marner with zero physicality.
Toews ís a career center and even after missing two years is more than likely still a far better 3rd line center than Laughton.
Laughton was handed the 3rd line center position after the trade deadline and was a complete failure.
I’m not even sure Laughton is a better 4th line center than Kampf but he seems to be Beẻube’s choice.
Cowan is definitely not a 4th line defensive grinder.
Either Cowan claims the 3rd line LW slot or send him to the Marlies for development.
Domi isn’t very good and probably his weakest trait is his defense so he is completely míscast as the 4th line, defensive, PK center.
I’m not sure who Robinson is, i will have to search the list of FAs and RFAs to understand who you are referring to.
If it is simply an auto correct spelling error and you are referring to Robertson, I don’t feel he has even come close to earning a $3 million dollar per year contract.
There is also the consideration that Robertson is a LW not a RW and if Leafs want to get the best out of him, slotting him into his natural LW position would be a good start.

@WB kane is a gamer scores in the biggest moments something the leafs don’t have I also think he’s a great mentor for guys like Cowan who play a similar game as for toews I’m not saying he can play centre but I’d try him on wing. The Laughton slander will continue until next year I thought he and that make shift line was the heart of the leaf in the playoffs I think getting a training camp and more time with the leafs I believe he will be the next McCabe how many deadline adds do you see just flourish with a new team right away…. It’s pretty rare as for Robinson he’s a guy who has size and speed put up good number with Carolina last year. And for Cowan I don’t think the minors are out of the question but I think if they can build a solid bottom 6 they can role the lines and he can get plenty of minutes.

Sorry Goat2.0 but I have to disagree with most of your points.
Particularly Laughton who has been in the league for 10 or 11 years and shouldn’t need a training camp to get up to speed.

I would rather have Rust or Rakell from the Pens than Kane if a deal could be arranged with Dubas.
I have not noticed Kane being a difference maker in Detroit.
Why would that change when he comes to the Leafs a year older.

Robinson I know nothing about but if he is a good skater and has over 150 hits a season then Leafs could use him.

@wb that’s fine don’t have to agree cause at the end of the day we’re not gms true fully I don’t see the leafs doing much history shows that when the leafs are connected to everyone they usually end up with no one lol.
