Why would LA give up anything of value for Marner when they can just make him an offer on July 1st.
Byfield is the Kings future #1 center when Anze Kopitar retires.

@WB first one to be able to pursue Mitch had the best odds. Plus able to give him 8 year deal. Plus they are in need of a goalie, Kuemper is almost 50. Rittich is prolly one of the better back ups in the league but that’s all he will be at 32. Phoenix Copley doesn’t look ready yet.
