Is Josh Anderson the guy tho I know he’s big and plays a heavy game but that about all he’s got.

While Anderson might have some appeal I’m not giving up 4 pieces to an arch rival for someone past his peak.

Guess no one watched the impact he had in playoffs eh? Getting him at 2.75 to be a middle 6 winger would be a big boost for this lineup. Play with more confidence and toughness. Trying to put a team together to beat Florida and IMO we need guys like this to answer for some of their meat heads.

Q few years ago we all wanted Josh Anderson when he was in CBJ. Those days are done now.

That said, I'll take him for 2 years at 2.75. That's bottom 6 AAV so not much risk as he's still an effective middle/ bottom 6 guy.

That is a lot to give up for get a guy who isn't going to help us with depth scoring. Yes, he is big and can play physical. We need some guys with scoring punch though. His 8 goals in 48 playoff games isn't really going to help the team. I get we need the physical part against Florida Clarky. I have been a big proponent for the Leafs getting bigger and meaner. Still need to score to win though. Every one was all over McMann for not scoring even though he worked hard and forechecked. He doesn't play a soft game. I stood up for him. Ultimately, we needed a goal from him here and there. I give him a bit of a pass because it was his first playoff, but if he is cold again on the scoresheet next year, I wouldn't recommend re-signing him likely.
