Is that the best upgrade for a 1st round pick?
I like Jenner but don’t agree with the trade.
Bunting leads the Leafs in plus/ minus at +25 and is 5th in scoring on the team behind only the “Core Four”.
Bunting: 19 goals, 42 points.
Jenner 19 goals, 36 points
How is it that you see Jenner as a “huge” enough upgrade to give up a 1st round pick?

You could add a 1st round pick to the Wilson deal and the Capitals still laugh and say absolutely not.
Ristolainen is a “black hole” on defense so giving up Niemala plus a 1st round pick is a terrible idea!
Schenn for Holl would work as it save Leafs $1.2 million against the cap.
Two AHL players for Jeannot is not going to interest Nashville in the slightest.
They are currently trying to extend Jeannot to give you an idea of how much they value him.

Leafs can ill afford to have $10 million tied up in goaltenders.
Giving up 23 year old Sandin for 38 years old Fleury would make it a non starter anyways.
