Everyone is saying we would have to get rid of one of the big 4 to do this but honestly removing Kerfoot, Johnson, and Engvall could be enough.

Getting rid of Kerfoot, Engvall and Johnson at once would be a huge mistake. You then have the Goat and Spezza as third liners. Spezza played well this year but he may hit a bump in the road anytime much the same as Marleau did.

For once I agree with Islandjet. You are not getting Makar AND Byram for Nylander plus. You’d be lucky to get Byram for Nylander.

This isn't happening. Two young D that could both be Norris winners in the future. You could make the argument that either Marner or Nylander is worth Byram or Makar but Liljigren, Dermott and Johnson don't get you Byram and a 1st.

Where does Marchment play? He isn't a really skilled guy but could probably play 4th line just don't expect anymore than 5 minutes a night. Harpur I don't mind but I think it's more Muzzin laying people out, Goat with a big hit and some solid D and Hyman fighting for the pucks the leafs need more of rather than Harpur fighting someone.
