Why would they trade for O'Reilly? He already turned them down once before. He doesn't want to be in T. O. and have the media all over him and his family.

Not a 34 year old (in 6 weeks) O’Reilly!
O’Reilly’s Stanley Cup and Conn Smythe heroics were 5 years ago.
I, for one, did not want him when Dubas gave St Louis a 1st round pick for him and I want him in Blue & White even less now!
How many 33 + year old players does a team need?
Pacioretty, Tavares, Tanev, OEL are more than enough without adding O’Reilly to the mix!
Besides, O’Reilly had the opportunity to to resign with the Leafs and chose to sign with Nashville.
