Can we please stop with trade proposals involving teams giving up assets where they do not have a surplus at that partcular position?

I understand Matthews would probably agree to SJ, but the reality is, there's no RHD in SJ's pipeline, and there are two RHD available in the top 4 this year.

Same with LA. Sure, We need a guy like Brandt Clarke, but so does LA. If they give up Clarke in any deal, who do they get to play RD when Doughty retires in a year or two?
