Looks more and more like marner will be starting with the leafs next year. They will draft Matthews. And sign vesey and stamkos.

Looking at the gudbranson trade something like this should work.

Leipsic or leivo, bozak, Pittsburgh 1st, and a third

Jets don't want bozak, trouba will cost more than the junk you proposed
Stamkos is Not on leafs radar they are waiting for Tavares he fits the timeline better and is a Babcock type guy
leafs will address the goalies neither ahl goalie is nhl ready and bernier has no trust from Babcock
Barrie and trouba are both leaf targets even if they cost a high end prospect
Leafs will draft Tyler parsons and sign another undrafted young goalie either from Europe or the chl and sign cam ward to fill the gap
Leafs will sign Vesey
Bernier and some other prospects and draft picks will go to Calgary for their 1st 2016 leafs want one of the dmen in this draft
Will also look to get their hands on this jost kid. Captain material the sleeper of the draft Jvr is in play to make this happen

I definitely agree wit most of what hpm says here, especially with stamkos falling off the radar, not sure if they're actually banking on Tavares becoming a free at all. But it's definitely a nice thought. They're rebuilding and so far doing a good job. By the time Tavares comes up, he may not be economical to their cap the rest I agree with and Jost is definitely under rated in the draft and would be a steal for anyone

This would be a great future group IMO
