Gustafsson 800K & Sheary 1.5 million to the Leafs for Sandin 1.4 million, Kerfoot 3.5 million, Hirvonen, Niemela, Holl 2 million & a 3rd rd pick in 2024 & 2025.

Meier to the Leafs for Knies, Robertson & a 1st rd pick in 2024. With SJ eating half of Meier contract.



Contracts out : Sandin 1.4, Kerfoot 3.5 & Engvall 2.25 million

Contracts in : Sheary 1.5, Gustafsson 800 K & Meier 3 million

Leafs save approx. 1.85 million & could still acquire defensive depth, if Holl was included in a pkg his 2 million would give the Leafs 3.85 million towards another defensive acquisition.

My mistake should have been Engvall. 2.25 million, not Holl in the trade to Washinton. Possible they may be sellers.

Or if loading up the top 6, going with a stacked top 6 with each line playing 22-25 minutes. So 44-50 minutes of the game, third & 4th lines getting combined 10 to 16 minutes. Dependent on penalties as excluding Marner many of the Leafs on the PK are bottom 6 forwards. That would remain the same despite trades.
