I have no intention on trading Knies but…lol
How about Byram sign and trade Tuch
For Knies and Col 1st.

So 7 million out and over 20 million in once Byram signs his next deal.

FYI with Reilly gone Andrae is left-handed left-shot D. Why do u need Byram? You got McCabe, OEL and Andrae now. If anything, I would go and sign Stanley and shift Andrae to the right side.
McCabe Raddysh
OEL Carlo
Stanley Tanev
Andrae

Good then stop posting dumb trades. Giving up Knies and a 1st rd pick for byram and sin and trade for Tuch. Have u lost your mind. Byram is not that good of a dman. They have him as a 3rd pair guy behind power and dahlin on the left side.
They extended Samuelson as well. They want him gone to keep Tuch. Whoever signs this guy to a huge deal when he becomes a UFA is going to regret it

I basically posted this so people would stop with the Knies bs. But I think you undervalue Byrum. Ya he’s a third pairing behind two really good players. OEL isn’t getting any younger. Tanev is one mouse fart to the head away from having to retire, and Andrae is a young wildcard.
We should get ahead of the curve if we can, but this post isn’t the way to go obviously, and there’s no way I’d pay Tuch 10 million bucks.

Now I'm hearing you. Do I think he’s a bad D? No. But I read an article saying Knies straight up for Byram is ridiculous. Need to get rid of Reilly b4 making any move for Byram.
Open up a spot for him on the left side. Issue is you’re getting him for 1 yr then he’s going to want to get paid and I don't think I’m giving him 8 figures and that’s what he will demand.

Of course Knies straight up for Byram is not an even deal. But if a way of getting Byram was doable, go for it. He was good enough to play second pairing on his off side all year and was second in ice time in the playoffs on d behind Dahlin.
The reason Power played left side and Byram played right side is because he is more versatile than Power. He is also more physical. Power for his big size is not that physical at clearing the front of the net.
