All the talk of Werenski, but a guy not talked about very much on here that I think could play a big role for the Leafs if they could get him, is Voronkov.
25 years old. He's big, physical, will fight and pretty good at it. He puts up points at even strength and the PP.
At $4.175M this year and then an RFA.


With Columbus having Olivier locked up long term and the possibility of Werenski leaving, could Columbus look to retool?
If Werenski goes, maybe the recently acquired puck mover Andrae with a + would interest Columbus. Maybe Andrae and Joshua. Or Andrae and Robertson as Columbus could use some goal scoring.

I doubt Chayka would trade Andrae after just qualifying him. Even though the qualified Robertson - if he doesn't get term on his contract, he will just ask for a trade again.

I also don't like giving up Danford, as I see him as a big part of this team moving forward, so I say
Nic Robertson + Dakota Mermis + A Pick?

I’m targeting Marchenko. He’s the guy you want out of CBJ. Werenski is a long shot but Marchenko can be had and won’t cost you a king's ransom like Werenski.
