Leafs are asking the Ducks for Noah Warren (10th best prospect), a 7th round pick and no retention for Morgan Rielly.

SEA already has a glut of young centres in Beniers, O'Brien, and Catton. They won't want our young center.

If we could somehow pry Dunn from them for Reilly and COL's 1st then that'd make a lot of sense, but unfortunately that wouldn't clear up any needed cap space, which is an issue at the moment.

If they get Dunn, then they need to clear Joshua off the books. If they get Wright, then great, but then they still need to add on the left side of the D corps, and that becomes harder to do if they give up the COL 1st for Wright.



If Chayka really wants to get nuts, you can move Knies and Reilly for Wright, O'Brien, and Dunn, which I'm not actually crazy about, but I think that'd be something SEA would listen to as they want a quality top 6 player.

I still believe the team the Leafs need to target is the Ducks. But again, we gotta wait for the dust to settle w Flyers/Ducks first.
