I'm hopeful that Woll proves the better trade choice than Stolarz, but I’m totally underwhelmed by the return.
Maybe Florida was offering zero value on bringing back Stolarz.
Andrae certainly is not the answer to our D problem. He better have lots of speed at 5.9, even if he's carrying 194.
Why take back a goalie for the AHL? I think the plan has always been to promote Hildeby over Akhtyamov so it makes little sense. What value could they get for Ersson with his numbers?
The third pick is #85, still possible to get a good pick but one that requires time to develop.

Most of the stuff he and all those other guys write on those sites is click bait. They send it to their primary site and also to other affiliated ones. The more clicks the more they get paid per article. So many cents per click. None of them are insiders. They call themselves "Analysts" lol lol lol. Nothing in any of their articles analyzes anything, they are basically ideas they think are good in their minds or things the public arleady knows and they just report it in different wording. I started blocking feeds from the majority of them. Half the people on this site are more analytical and have more insider info than these guys. Most of them took journalism and with the collapse of the Newspaper industry have no jobs so they create their own. One guy a few weeks back pumped out 18 articles in 3 days. Not exactly what you would call investigative journalism lol.
Relax King. They say expansion won't happen until the late 2020's or early 2030's. A lot of things to put in place for a team to be ready.
This guy just basically wrote a hypothetical piece on if it would happen in 2027-2028. The league actually started a 6 month evaluation in June for Houston. So that would not be complete until December and it will take a couple of years after they make a decision on that before a puck would be dropped, and that decision won't literally happen the day the evaluation is done.

Who would I protect? Who do the Leafs have to protect (NMC)? What would the Leafs have to give up to protect a player that they can’t protect?
I still appreciate Chayka drafting goalies cuz Sergei Bobrovsky has a NMC for the next 3x years so the Leafs backup goalie will be exposed.

I like AA as well, but as it currently stands he is a complete wild card. He might just be an AHL goalie. If he was lost, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Over there they are not as upset that Alfie left but Chayka Promoted/signed Gruden so Ottawa would not grab him when Aflfredsson was Signed. It sounds like even Gruden was not aware of this move.
Ottawa would have hired him in a heartbeat to replace Alfie. He and Staios and Andlauer have history together when they had the Hamilton Bulldogs and won the OHL and went to the Memorial Cup in 2028.

The bench now is Sullivan, Alfredsson, Hiller and Gruden. Personally I think it’s a mistake to let go of Lalonde. Our PK was the only thing that was good last year.

A couple years ago the Leafs finished 1st in the Atlantic, but underlining stats were not good. They rode the coattails of elite goaltending.
I think it's the same sort of thing with the PK. They ranked high, but their underlining stats were not good. They punched above their weight class.

What’s Morgan Rielly’s value? (Stop knocking people until you answer this simple question).
What’s Matthew Knies’s value? (If he gets traded).
I personally feel you over value both, especially when it come to maximizing Knies return and respecting Rielly’s tenure.
Rielly, the class act he is, doesn’t want to leave, doesn’t have to leave and still gives the Leafs a list of 4x teams. In my opinion, Chayka and @Champ over played there hand.
Zero respect for what he’s done for the team both on and off the ice.
Me personally, at this point, how do the Leafs save face?
Also @Champ, I believe the Leafs will trade Knies, just a gut feeling. What kind of return are you expecting? What teams would you target? Are you building a cup contender today? Or tomorrow?

The thing that worries me the most about Roslovic is his career -46. He hasn’t been in the + for over 5x years now.
Definitely gonna miss Robertson's shot. That kid can finish. My knock on Robertson is he looked like a boy playing a man’s game.
