Yes, I know most of you hate it already because of who I'm trading away, but the pieces coming are worth it


Tor: Knies

Seattle: Wright, O'Brien, 2nd

Gotta give something good to get something good.

Wright would do well to get a fresh start. But O'Brien is the target. A natural right handed center with great natural playmaking ability. Would pair well with McKenna long term.

I think Obrien and Blake Fiddler would be better because he’s a defenseman but they’d have to add one more high pick or roster player or prospect.

100% right Champ! We’re Not trading Knies for that package just to search and scorch the earth trying to find another one like him again later. The only way Knies goes is for a top 10 draft pick next year's draft or top 10 the following plus a true Stud defensemen period.

Players like him locked in at a steal of a AAV that’ll put up 65pts plus don’t come around often. Plus he’s not in his prime yet! No deal!
