OEL was worth a first at last year's deadline and on a cheap deal.

OEL at 3.5, Sissons at 4.2, and Wood 1.28 (rest buried in the Marlies) is 9mil out and Detroit has $16mil in cap space

Is Detroit interested at all in a future heavy deal with a 4/5 defence man in OEL and overpaid 3rd liner? Does throwing in Bilecki or a 2nd in 2027/2028 entice at all?

Two roster players in a 3rd pair D and a third line forward who are easily replaceable. I don’t see Danford as more than a 4/5 dman and who knows what Bilecki is gonna be in 3 years time. If they’re the future of our D core, then they might make Morgan Reilly look like a Norris candidate.
