With Tanev exiting tonight with upper body injury, I believe his days of playing hockey are done. All Jake Muzzin. Your health is more important.

That frees up another $4.5m. Plus including OEL in the package frees up another $3.5m. Plenty of cal to sign Nikishin. He plays both right and left side. Perfect replacement for Tanev or OEL.

No! That’s way to much to give up for him. Edvinson sure but not Nikishin.

More than I would want to give up for Nikishin. The again, I am not as high on him as some others. He had a very good first year in the NHL, but was given some sheltered minutes and can get careless with the puck. Assuming he continues to progress I see him as a #3 ceiling, likely a very good 4 who can play all situations, but not a stand out in any particular area. In the playoffs last year, his ice time dropped and his minutes got more sheltered.

Only member of their D-core who was on the ice for more goals against at EV than for. Leary of giving big money and trading high end assets foe a guy who took until 24 to get to the NHL and was given sheltered minutes and even more so when the playoffs started. The 1 pt in 17 playoff games doesn't make up for the sheltered minutes.

Well that’s a good thing if u guys think we can have him for less. Take out Koblar and drop in a 2nd and pull out the first. Does that get it done? Maybe that’s a package more for Edvinsson.

But take out Koblar, leave in the 1st rd pick. Cause I keep hearing Cowan but I’m not giving up him and Danford in the same trade plus a 1st.

I'm not saying you could get him for less, I am saying I wouldn't pay that as I think he is overhyped.
