This is the dumbest post on here that i've seen. Pinball might actually be able to chirp this proposal. First off Kadri and Percy together wouldn't get you rhe 23rd overall pick, add in the 24th and you might get to 18 or 17. Biggs won't add any value to that particular deal. Then add Skinner or a young rising player from Carolina if Bozak is involved in that deal with Kessel. No team can sign any player to a contract more than 8 years. Because Stamkos isn't our draft pick or drafted before 2005, the most amount of years is 7. Hamilton would be awesome and give the leafs some redemption to the Kessel trade, but it ain't going to happen. Boston matches forsure. There is no way a prospect whether itd be a newly drafted prospect or Brown, Nylander, Gauthier, they aren't making the 2015-16 roster. They might show up in games here and there but deffinatly less than 15games.

It's going to take more than that to get the 3rd overall, leafs would not retain any salary for that trade not worth it. Going for Hamilton would be a huge mistake as it would be two first round picks a second a third, which would be the same mistake we made with kessel putting us in a bigger mess then we were. Stamkos will not be a leaf and even if he was a ufa max term you can sign someone for is 8 years

A 12 year contact for Stamkos at 10m? Offer sheet Hamilton for 8 years at 7.7m so we lose two first rounders a second and a third? Take on Semin's contract at 7m? Retain 1m from Phaneuf? Take on O'Reilly 6m? Bernier at 4.5m? Still have Lupul's contract? Couple years would have to sign Morgan Reilly to contract and all those top end guys we drafted. Plus JVR.

I would definitely love for all of these trades to happen! I believe that they all have good value for both teams but I don't think they should offer-sheet Hamilton bc it would no doubt be a high 1st & 2nd that go with the third as compensation bc the Leafs would be bad for the next couple of seasons. I would definitely love if they made those trades happen tho!
