Leafs greatest needs right now are a goalie and defense
With leafs officially having #1 pick safe to say Matthews will be drafted with that pick.
Kadri and Matthews will likely be the top 2 centers and bozak odd man out
Toronto trades Tyler bozak, Stuart Percy, Josh leivo
For
Fredrik Anderson and Clayton stoner
Leafs have a vast amount of prospects and picks and can afford given Percy and leivo away especially sense they were picks from the old burke and nonis era.
Anderson can hopefully be the starting net minder leafs need while Clayton stoner can be a veteran presence on a young defense as well as cap dump for the ducks
The next trade is with Colorado, rumour has it Tyson Barrie maybe on the move his a young rhd with a ton of upside
Using the Hamilton trade as a starting point which was a first round pick and a pair of seconds
Leafs trade pittsburgh first and Washington's second along with kapanen for Barrie
Even though kapanen was just acquired not to long ago, I fell like he has not made a very good impression on management in his couple games with the leafs this season and with the talent we have on the wings especially if Nylander and marner both play on the wings he becomes a odd man out.

Let's say leafs get lucky and win the lottery to get Matthews or luck out of free agency and get stamkos. The leafs then would have a log jam at center with nylander, Kari and bozak. Nylander is pretty much an untouchable, bozak and showed that he more then a center for kessel. Kadri has showed he has great skill set but has difficulty scoring at a top 6 role in the nhl. Kadri has the most value out of the three with the exception of Nylander so why not us him as trade bait to get assets on where we are lacking good goaltender prospect and a young talented rh defemensemen
So here's my proposal
Toronto trades Kadri Percy and bracco
Nj trades Larson and blackwood.

A much more realistic trade with the Leafs not trading away their 1st overall pick! The Leafs will look to trade away players that don't fit into their long term plan, also Kadri could be, for the right package, you move him!

Kessel has a no trade clause and most likely won't want to move to arz so you trade his roommate with him so he changes his mind so he can continue to play with him

Like the proposal, but I don't think that they'd even consider kessel unless they are VERY desperate to get to the cap floor.

With Matt Murray playing well for Pittsburgh wondering if they may choose to trade fleury
If so he maybe a good fit in Toronto while Toronto drafts a goalie in the draft and develops him either Hart or Fitzpatrick this or maybe one of the goalies next year as it seems like 2017 class has the advantage in goalies.
Opinions on whether or not leafs should be interested and what would be a fair trade for him?

Fleury has a full no trade clause. He can't be moved without giving his OK. Would you want to go to the last place team in the league or would you rather be playing in the playoffs?

As bad of trade as it was Hall went for Larson. Trouba holds more value then Larson and hall more value then jvr.
Toronto would probably need to add or modify. Maybe something like this
Jvr + marincin or corrado+ brown or lepsic
For trouba and conditional second if brown or lepsic play "x" amount of nhl games if not goes to a third

You need to get your facts right. Dvorak was a second round pick they passed on him twice ( Brandon perlini and Ryan mcinnis). His draft year he suffered a knee injury which only aloud him to play 33 games. He followed that with an 109 points and then 121 points pretty good if you ask me.
With all that being said he is a good prospect with value he definitely has a future in the nhl whether it is in a top 6 role or a top 9.
