Be careful on the Dvorak trades. he was a 20 year old midway through the year, much older and playing with two fourth overall picks. Not to say he is bad, but he isn't as good as what everyone thinks he is.

Dvorak is a good player. He proved he can be a leader and play with other good players. You don't have to play with bad players and score to be considered good. Not saying the guy is going to be an elite player but do not say he's not a good prospect just because he played with Marner and Tkachuk.

Any propsect you trade for is a risk. This is the reason we should keep JVR. Proven goal scorer in a league where goals are hard to come by. He will help the young kids develop and take the pressure off.

Huge overpayment. Keep JVR and Gardiner as they are both good players.
