Don’t think Leafs can afford this one. Thank god. You really think LA would be willing to wait four years for a 1st? LA signed all those old men to overpaid long term contracts. They wanted those guys to retire in LA. So they should. Quick has four years left at almost $6M a year. He would be making more than Andersen to be our backup? Kopitar making $10M to be our 3C? I’m not sure I’m seeing the logic in this proposal. We would be $7M over the cap and much older and slower. The only decent thing in here is Walker, who is off to a great start.

Leafs don't have 2020 1st. getting kopitar would be great. Give leafs the best center showcase in the league. Walker is ok and quick i'd live to have as a backup but others around here have written me and said he is old and has lost his greatness.

For kopitar i'd do kerfoot and future picks. After that i'm pretty conflicked

Good proposal to write about though.

I like the player coming back but I can already see the issue we will have Kopitar is a top 6 player so who is going to be the third line center Matthews look at what happen with Kadri when you’re good enough to be in the top 6 you need to be there Kadri was good enough but didn’t get to show it last year with the less ice time Kerfoot is honestly the perfect 3c he’s a puck hounder and has a lot of hockey iq I wouldn’t touch our third line it’s been out only consistent line thus far.
