We absolutely don’t need a forward. Needs now are a defenseman and a backup. Once those glaring needs are setttled we can think about another forward to satisfy our need for grit.

DeAngelo would never be on the Leafs. Ever. He’s a racist and a polarizing figure in the dressing room and has already been suspended multiple times at every level of play for hitting refs. There is no denying the talent. But Leafs will absolutely not take on someone so controversial. No chance. Especially in Toronto.
