Just a couple of trades I think would be good for the leafs

Tor: Nylander
Min: greenway Erickson ek 9th oa

Idk what more they could get for him but mommy is interested greenway is a big guy who bring energy Erickson ek would be a 3C and use the pick to draft Askarov

Tor: Bracco
Win: little ltir
Leafs get a cap dump and the jets get a useful prospect for nothing

Tor: Andersen
Col: 1st 28 Timmons

Tor: 28 Liljegren brooks
Pit: Murray Johnson 2nd
Askarov will need a year or two so Murray signing short term We take Johnson and either buy him out or keep him for a year and pay Seattle to take him

In Minny deal ask for Brennan Merrell to go along with those suggested in trade.

Give Winnipeg Petan back just for fun

Andersen deal might be a stretch but no harm asking you never know Colorado might be more desperate than they let on

Pittsburgh simply wants a 1st for Murray but unloading Johnson 3 million is worth a 4th rounder so take out Liljegren and that 2nd makes up picks difference

Why Jack Johnson? He canâ€™t be a cap dump, because we are taking on Murray and sending Pittsburgh practically no salary in return. We would just have to buy him out or pay Seattle to take him, which basically means we are paying even more for Murray.

The Andersen and Murray trades are very close. I guess you think Timmons is the better player than Liljegren? Iâ€™m not so sure I would bite on that one. Rather keep Liljegren. But Iâ€™m not sure how you are valuing the goalies though because the inclusion of Johnson skews the Pittsburgh trade.

If Johnson is included, Leafs would be better to pass. We donâ€™t need or want him, and his cap hit would be a drag on the team. Either we buy him out or have to pay Seattle to take him. Either way, it drives up the actual cost of acquisition for Murray.
