Too much to give up for Miller and we can't possibly sign him with our cap situation. I'd love to have him.

If miller has another season close to or exceeding 100pts, he won't sign that deal.

Last I heard, Kadri may get in the range of 9 million on a 7 year deal and he's a bit older. That's probably what JT is looking for.

Love to have a player like Miller but there is no way Leafs can/ should afford to resign him so he would only end up a one year rental and that is a lot to give up for a rental (even for Dubas)!
