* Will jump on the Trouba train, Rangers seem like the logical destination for Nylander.

Nylander ( sign & trade ), Brodie, Hirvonen, Jarncrock, Niemala, McMann & Hoefenmayer to NYR for Trouba, Othmann & Kakko.

* Leafs save 3 million in the trade which covers the 2.943 that the Leafs are currently over the cap.

Except the hole Trouba leaves isn’t worth it for the rangers.

I feel Trouba is over hyped and overpaid.
That said, I like the idea of bring back Kakko to fill the 2nd line, RW slot and Othman is an excellent prospect.
Other than Nylander none of the players Leafs are sending back constitute a great loss to the Leafs Roster or prospect pool.

Trouba would be a great addition to the Leafs, but I think. little too much coming from the Leafs to the Rangers?
