It'd said Treliving wants to add a player with term if he trades a 1st, so here we go.

To TOR: F - L. Crouse + D - M. Dumba (50% retained)

Total cap in $4.3 + $1.9 = $6.2M

To ARZ: 2024 1st + F - N. Robertson + D - T. Niemela

Not sure if the Leafs can make the cap work, but basically you replace Robertson with Crouse and add Dumba to pair on the Right side

I think it's too light from the Leafs. I think that offer may get Crouse, but I don't think it also gets Dumba at 50%.
Crouse is a rare bread. A 20+ goal big man that penalty kills, PP's and gets 75% of his points at even strength without getting sheltered minutes. He hits, he fights etc. He is going to cost big.

I would much prefer Brown to Dumba who is currently a -14, worst on his team and definitely not the type of player to pair with Morgan Reilly who requires a strong, solid, RHdefender to bring out his best.
