This package to me would work, Leafs get 2 NHL players, 1 just coming out of ELC for a top 15 talent.

Utah gas lots of cap space. Draft picks and prospect. Why would they give up the players that Marner is supposed to be passing the puck to?

Great trade and Keller not on same level as marner in terms of complete two way player. Marner 100pt player who kills penalties.

I’m surprised no one has proposed a trade with Dallas now that we got Leach. He would give Treliving the best players and prospects to go after in a trade.

When I look at it as Matt Roy+Pesce is Marner salary, I'm fine with the space.

Just think with marner and Tavares off the books next year that’s $22mil in cap space! Plus the cap is going up as well $92mil. Treliving will have a huge amount of cap to add anything he wants.

Letting marner walk for free is terrible asset management.
