I know leafs are linked to gourde, while hes fairly descent, it will not push leafs over the hump... treliving is turning this team into tougher team to play against, but as you can see, rielly, matthews, robertson are not fitting into this system well, i kinda miss leafs from last year, at least they were a lock for the playoffs, if leafs miss the postseason...you can bet my words, this team, will not be a playoff team for years to come cause, matthews will be traded so will rielly..this team knows there problems and will not address the situation...dead weight....timmins, kampf, reaves, dewar,holmberg, should not be on this team..im starting to look at domi with regrets, but have optimism with him cause he gets better towards playoffs...leafs can better situated with lineup changes...why there not trying domi on top wing with matthews when it worked good last year, but fuckhead berube will not do it...alex nylander should have been put a few shifts higher in lineup, but berube wont..a line i would have tried would have been a.nylander, matthews and domi, just to see..i know youll will say why but think about the flashyness that would have created...mcmann has under performed...leafs are in serious trouble...no urgency in there game, no intensity..loss of finished checks...team needs a trade like the one i mentioned with islanders....if a trade dont happen like that in next two weeks, leafs will miss playoffs, i dont think berube has done a gd job at all...a

If people think that after a trade with isles for what i mentioned is not good, then idk what is...every other player i didnt mention wrte either traded waived or healthy scratch, that would improve leafs by a landslide
Now i know all of you guys will say, it wont happen or its not good or why those lines, maybe some have tp play on off sides but there pros, they can...now there's now weak spots, some will say a.nylander why, hes got good fladhy hands as does wahlstrom...lorentz strong 4th liner can play center, all hes got to do if feed those flashy wingers...but really look at those lines after trade with isles...that i mentioned in previous comments...that lineup would be lights out...but rubbish in one hand and wish in the other, and see which one fills first...take another look down that center from 1 to 4...fucking solid as with wingers both sides 1 to 4...stanley cup...if not adding just a center like yanni gourde, or oreilly just alone, wont cut it....9 for 3 type trade, ve back in two weeks to see what they go with....they do nothing...golf comes early

You don't even have Willy in your first line up. Smooth move.
Leafs need a solid swing. Cozens fit, but would cost Cowen with a great draft pick. Then got to figure out the salary cap gymnastics.
The Leafs issue has always been they having the 4 elites and othing but million dollar plugs behind them.

There is a major shift in their play this year because of Berube's coaching style and it will take time to sort it out. I still believe they are a playoff team but time will tell. To complicate matters it doesn't help that they have played 16-17 back to back games this year. that's the most in the NHL and it is insane!
