There's a lot of talk about Necas being shopped around. But I still believe Colton is the one most available in Colorado. He's got a friendly cap hit for next 2 seasons and only 28yrs old won cup. Can play centre or wing. I believe Avs want to sign necas but need space. $4mil off the books for next season helps big.

Colton is another left handed player when Leafs are in dire need of right shot wingers.
Colton is a center while Leafs have just acquired Nick Roy to fill the hard to play against, 3rd line center role.
If Colorado is looking to shed salary, Necas is definitely the target Leafs should be focusing on.
Necas is a 1st line right wingers that could seamlessly step into the spot vacated by the departure of Marner for Sin City.
In terms of shedding salary but still receiving value in return, Leafs could offer Cowan plus McMann and his 20 goals last season.
To Leafs: Necas ($6.5)
To Colorado: McMann ($1.35), Cowan (ELC), Robertson (RFA)
Leafs would need to extend Necas before any deal is completed.

First Robertson not getting $2mil in arbitration maybe $1.25mil tops. Jarnkrok coming off the books next season and so will Robertson. They need cap space to sign necas next season. Colton still has $4mil on the books for this season and next. Colton versatile player can move him to centre and JT to the wing. Lots of options and FYI guys can play their off wing it’s the nhl not house league.

They r not trading STOLARZ or Woll. If anyone it will be hildeby. They have Akhtyamov as an up and coming replacement for woll or if they can’t extend STOLARZ.
