I want to see Maccelli for one more year with a different coach that isn’t line juggling every other game.

Wow LeafsGM we are the opposite on every opinion on this team. We were suppose to change our identity and went out and got Maccelli? Big mistake, Utah knew it too. That’s why he sat half the year before he left. Leafs need to lose guys like Maccelli and trade Nylander and don’t look back.

This isn’t soccer @LeafsGM, you need to be tough and have some heart in hockey and your two favourite players there don’t have it. They should be playing soccer with you

Totall agree with you, Clarky. It's pretty much time to warm up the bus for out of town departures.

Soccer is a game I probably hate the most and yes we have different opinions as for my favourite players Gretzky was my favourite player I think he won the cup maybe not and as I recall wasn’t the toughest player out there he was the smartest for sure.

We do agree Mo has to go

Leafsgm, Brett Gretzky never won a cup.

I won't take away from Gretzky's accomplishments. Yes he was not the toughest but he had Semenko to allow him a lot of extra space to be the player he was. He also had one of the greatest assembly of players put together by Glen Sather playing with him. Also worth pointing out is that as massive of point totals he put up. After he got traded the team didn't collapse as you possibly think Toronto will if one of Matthews or Nylander gets traded. Edmonton won the cup 2 years later without him. Messier was still there amongst others. Messier then of course won another cup in New York. Wayne on the other hand never won another in the final 11 years after he left Edmonton and actually missed the playoffs in 4 of those and would have been 5 had he not been traded to St.

Louis just before the Trade Deadline.

So when you say Gretzky won "the" cup. He did not win "the" cup. He was a huge part of the "Team" that won "the" cup multiple times and that "Team" won it again without him.

Toronto is not a dynasty type team like that of Edmonton's but it does show that a team does not have to collapse because one of their key parts is gone. We will survive but it will be a tougher climb than Edmonton had because we don't have their depth and unlike that era, there are Salary Caps and Free agency and No trade contracts in this era, which makes that climb harder but with the right General Manager not insurmountable.

Exactly my point saying Nylander isn’t tough enough it’s the whole team that wasn’t tough enough and it’s not his job to be like Gret and Semenko and McSorley. Not sure if it was you who wrote Nylander is selfish, lazy, uncoachable.

Well he lead the team in assists, no professional athlete can be called lazy in my opinion, and the entire Leafs team look uncoachable last year lol because we had the wrong guy doing it.
