I might be one of the only ones but I would like to see a Reilly for Petterson. Trade. Neither side eats salary, Leafs probably add a tiny bit due to Petterson's position. But I would say we had like a Hirvonen.

Do you think Vancouver actually would do that? Unless they just want to save some money and really blow their team up.

Would help solve the second line center problem. Would have a few bucks left to get a depth piece and maybe sign Roberston and McKenna's ELC

I’m pretty sure it was reported that Reilly wouldn’t waive to go to Vancouver, which makes sense. Why would he want to go to a rebuilding team?

When I purposed this a month ago I had Robertson going to Vancouver as well I think he’s going to ask for a similar salary to Domi which equals the cap hit and I believe Reilly waves to go home!!

Reilly would definitely wave to go home. What r u talking about ?. Reilly plus Robertson and a 3rd pick or prospect would get this done I believe. No retention on either side. Realistically u save on having to resign Robertson and only eat up $4.1m of salary cap with the difference between Reilly and Elias.
