Ana
OEL $3.5M
Tverberg $.850M
2027 2nd
Tor
Solberg ELC
Gaucher $.866M
The one thing Anaheim could really use is a solid vet D-man. They are playing Luneau and LaCombe 25-30 mins a night. OEL would be a good steadying D for them. Tverberg is there for contract total reasons.
Leafs get 2 heavy, young players. Gaucher, imo, still has room to grow into a mid/bottom 6 power type forward who plays a physical game and Solberg is that hard hitting, defensive shut down guy who could get some NHL time even this season. Gaucher doesn't have to clear waivers if the Leafs assign him directly to the AHL. Leafs clear some cap and get younger on D.

I like it except for losing OEL without a replacement. This D corps really concerns me for an 84 games season and (hopefully) playoffs. If another move comes after, I think it's a good one.
If it is this in a vacuum, I really don't want to lose OEL right now.

From Anaheim I'm looking at Ethan Proczysyn. Is more of a middle 6, with leadership and already defensively responsible. While being center and RW power forward.

Hrenklin. I get that, but Gaucher was already on waivers, so he doesn't hold much trade value. Switch him Pro and the asking price goes up.
