People need to get over this idea of Schenn being of any value. He is slow, cannot move a puck and will be used as a pylon by Tampa forwards. He would not even be one of the top 7 defence men. We already have Ben who would not cost anything and does everything Schenn does.
I agree that the Leafs need an upgrade on defence but Schenn is not it.

@TroyP the Van trade prop maybe but the Nashville trade they laugh hysterically and hang up. Common man we’d have to do better.

I can not see any conceivable way that Nashville gives the Leafs Trenin & Jeannot for an expiring contract and a “B” prospect still playing in Europe!
