Tweaked my original post of a deadline trade proposal adding a bit more from both teams.
Cap is a wash so no Cap retention from either team.

Would a trade like this be good gor both teams ?

Bertuzzi as a UFA who is not likely to resign to play in Arizona next year has no value.
Why would Arizona give up what is likely a top 10 - 12 pick in the first round for Leafs bottom 10 pick?

I think the Leafs get the far better of this trade as it is outlined.
I would suspect the Coyotes say no thanks.

You can't be serious threading Marner the guy is top 5 in points last 5 years and is making oust for a 100 point season

How many guys pull in 100 points each year I think he hit 99 twice.

Keep it real please and doesn't Robertson one timer remind you of Matthews.

If Leaf's trade 2 players they have 37 million worth of cap space before the cap goes higher so it's really 41 million

Trading Marner, while I’m not necessarily against it, is risky. You need a huge return, and you better consider the effect it’ll have on Matthews, on and off the ice.
