Jensen. 50 percent retained
Robertson 3rd Rd 2024 to caps

Ducks retain another 50 percent on Jensen
Steeves goes to the Ducks

Kampf 1st rd pick 2024 Abruzzese to Ducks
Henrique at 50 percent to Leafs

Gregor on waivers
Jones on waivers

Knies 34 16
Bertuzzi Henrique 88
McMann Tavares Jarnkrok
Holmberg Domi Reaves

Rielly Jensen
Brodie Liljegren
McCabe Lyubushkin
Benoit

Woll. Samsanov

A lot to give up for a UFA in Henrique and an elder statesman like Jensen
But dang look at that lineup
A whole lot to like ?

Ok folks
Start the critique
I promise I will take it like a grown up??

I forgot to add that the Leafs save some coin because they only need to be there for half the draft in 2024??.

I know Jensen seems to be a popular guy at the moment, but I'm not as sold on him as others seem to be. He's a solid enough 2nd pair D who can PK, but if going after a guy with term left, I would prefer a bigger more physical D-man and younger. Jensen will be 34 at start of next season and isn't very big or that physical. I also don't think you can get Washington and the Ducks to retain on this year and 2 more years for those returns. Not a huge fan of adding Henrique either.

Seems a bit steep for Henrique. Love to have him but not at that cost. I would think if the leafs had interest he would have been part of the last trade .

Henrique would be a good add but unless he comes with an extension I think it is time for the Leafs to STOP giving up 1st round pick for UFA’s.

I do not see Jensen as a significant enough upgrade to justify giving up Robertson, Steeves and a 3rd round pick for.

Only problem I see is now you push Benoit out of the lineup. He hasn't been an allstar but he's been far better than Brodie or Liljegren!
