Tor- JVR, Bernier
Cal- Hamilton, 2nd 2016, Raymond

Calgary had a good defense before the addition of JVR and the leafs need a top 2 right handed shot.

Calgary needs a goalie and although Bernier had a bad year he is still a good goalie. Raymond is a cap dump for the 2nd pick and can also play on the wing because we will be short at left wing if JVR gets traded.

Leafs draft
1- Matthews C
31- Howden LW
35- Cholowski D
57- If available Hart, if not Parsons G

Leafs needed to fill 3 huge holes this offseason
#1 center - Matthews
Goalie - Anderson
Top R defensemen - Hamilton.

One of the more realistic trades I've seen

Stop it Leafs_4_life. it's not realistic. not even close. drop the other garbage around this trade and let's think about it logically. we give them a scoring winger on a pretty good contract for two more years. keep in mind he's only scored 30 goals once. and you want a young right hand shot defenceman on a d2cent deal AND A SECOND ROUND PICK?. so your hoping Brad is drunk when Lou calls him?. or is there another plan your hoping for?

Agree with Jimmy.

In my opinion Dougie is not going anywhere. They just got him last year and he fits everything Calgary wants to be.

3 dmen. 3 forwards. untouchables. if you can't figure out the 6 you don't watch hockey at all.

Everyone else on Calgary are tradeable but none are worth JVR.

Tend to agree that Hamilton isn't going anywhere. Would be nice if Calgary gave up a 2nd for Bernier but not likely.

JVR would go nicely to a team like the Jets or the Ducks for defensive players that are available.
