What's the value like on a trade like this

1.) Kane and some no namer is worth all that. Have u seen Kane's stats? Overrated! Lupul for Kane is even value

THIS IS JUST FOR FUN, Not likely that any of this would ever happen.
I know it's still early and the Leafs could turn things around, as they do have a fairly solid team but why would you risk 8th 9th 10th place finish. That does nothing to help the organization. I say cash in on the value that we have with our player. Get a good rebuild for once.
Tor- Phaneuf 2015 3rd
Col- Mcginn 2015 1st
Defencemen like Phaneuf don't grow on trees. He takes a beating in toronto. He needs a change of scenery and the first round pick will end up being 20th round+.
Tor- Jvr Kadri
SJS- Couture 2015 4th
Couture would be a great center to build a team around for toronto and I think San Jose is solid enough down the middle to be able to trade couture for a cup run this year getting jvr and kadri in return.
Tor- Kessel Bozak
Cal- Monahan 2015 1st (possibly a player like baertschi aswell who isn't having the easiest time in Calgary)
Burke loves kessel and I know he would make that trade over and over again. It's a big price to pay to get a scorer like kessel. This trade isn't likely but I'd like to see something like this as a Leafs fan.

it would probably have to be more to get wheels but it's got to be close.
I think Toronto has a decent bottom six and goaltending and that the real problem is their defence and top 6 has no heart.

If maata is part of the deal then it is too much. Sprong pouliot and a 1st is pretty close. Sprong is a good prospect, pouliot is not a proven nhl defenceman, although he could be very good. Not exactly what the leafs need. He has played like 5 games in the nhl this year. And the 1st will be in the high 20's.

I think rychel and Martin are swapped for safety to start the season at least, as well as hunwick and polak for the sake of having rhd on right side and lhd on left side
