Great Trade for the Maple Leafs
Gives the Maple Leafs a true number 2 centre, a big-bodied power forward and frees up a spot on Defence for Philippe Myers to play while opening a roster spot for Alex Nylander without losing Alex Nylander to waivers when the team is near or at full health. Good job!

I’ve always like Pavel Zacha’s game but trading McCabe?
McCabe can play both the left and right side, is physical and a top 4 defender.
Who replaces McCabe?
Since Zacha would be Leafs new, 3rd line center and Calgary is rebuilding, perhaps they would prefer a younger player than McCabe?
Maybe Robertson and Minten to the Flames?
Or maybe Niemala to replace Calgary’s lost RHD (Anderson) plus either Robertson or Minten (Calgary’s choice) .
Robertson, Holmberg and Kampf are all replaceable and no great loss in my opinion.
