Another option is keep the roster and add Patches for 1 X 1.5M. Trade Jarnkrok, Kampf and Robertson.

WB, I know you get all bent out of shape when wingers play their off wing. Not sure why. They do it all the time. Easton Cowan shoots left but plays right wing. This is very important for defence but I don’t think so much for wingers.

Yes, some players are comfortable playing their off wing, some even like it better.
Most don’t.
If you are acquiring a player who has always played his off wing then no problem.
But forcing a player who is not comfortable with it, has not played his off wing regularly is a bad idea I feel.

Chinakov is a left shooting right wing.
I am all for trading for Chinakov
To CBJs: McMann, Robertson
To Leafs: Chinakov
Joshua - Roy - Chinakov

But to trade for, say, Anders Lee, who has always played to LW and try to force him into the right wing position on the 1st line would potentially be a recipe for for disaster.

I’ve read that Maccelli and Joshua played all 3 F positions last year. Domi is also better on the right side (whether you like him or not) . Roy played some RW as well last year. We have options of many guys who played RW last year alone. I’m sure it takes some getting used to but I would think the coaches aren’t too worried about lack of experience on the right side. It’s just a matter of which line Tre thinks needs more help, between Matthews and JT’s line.

Why would you trade 35 goals for 15!? Way too much for Chinakhov! Robertson should be enough!
