Necas would be a perfect fit with the Leafs but I think it would take Easton Cowan in the Leafs offering to get a deal done.
Colorado is in a win now mode.
A 2028 - 1st round pick, 3 years from now would hold little value to them.

IMO it’s not both Danford and Cowan. It’s one or the other. U take out 1st and put in 2nd 2026 then if u give up one of them. But I go for it in a heartbeat. I think so will Colorado if they know they can’t sign him.
