@Matty, Roslovic was a mistake just like Maccelli was last year and I went off on that one at the time too. It’s like they say they wanted to change their identity at the end of last season and one of the first moves was getting Maccelli and I was like ?.

This smells a lot like another Maccelli but other than that move, the Woll trade and Robertson trade the rest were not bad, at least you can see a direction and we’re bringing in role players and not a bunch of projects to play in our bottom 6.

@Clarky I didn't like the Woll trade either. Would rather have kept his as a backup, but that really only works if Stolarz could be moved which I assume he couldn't be.

Clarky 100% am on board with u about Knies not being traded. But when u include 2 players that were both just signed to 2yr deals by the new GM in your trade proposal B4 playing a game you leave me no choice but to ridicule u.

Roslovic has consistently scored 20+ goals in the last 2 seasons last year scored 21 after playing only 69g.

He’s not going anywhere until he plays. Stecher at his price is a great 3rd pairing rd or a 7th man option. You want to get rid of these guys plus more for 2 guys that bring what? I guy that won’t even make the roster and a dman that cost u dbl what the guy u r trading him for and is worse. Not to mention u r getting rid of a prospect and draft pick

Champ, Roslovic is gonna be another Maccelli. Doesn’t fit can’t find a spot for him plus he is soft and not very good defensively. Klapka has a huge presence on the ice and can be intimidating. That’s what we need. Sticks up for teammates willing to drop the gloves and Whitecloud is a solid 6D and RHD. Solid hits, good defensively and also sticks up for teammates.

Looking for solid team guys that have heart and care to win or lose. I like the way Stetcher plays too but he is too small and not much skill either. He will get eaten up by the teams in our division. If Cgy agreed it’s an easy yes for me on this one.

Berube is gone, Clarky, wake up. You don’t need Rempe part deux in Klapka. Guy got 12pts last season. So what you’re saying is Duhaime, Sissons, McEwen, Blueger won’t stick up for teammates? Roslovic was brought in for his 20+ goals, not to drop the gloves.

You make no sense. Stecher at 1.35m compared to 2.75m for Whitecloud, not a chance I’m swapping. He’s not worth paying dbl for. Not a good trade proposal. Not by a long shot.

What the heck are you talking about Berube and Rempe for? It’s about our division we play in, everyone got tougher around us. McEwen probably won’t even play. All those other guys have barely dropped the mitts except for Duhaime and he is a middleweight. Not sure what you’re watching but I will Whitecloud all day over Stetcher. Stetcher has heart but cause of his size he gets bullied off pucks.

Can’t believe I’m having a debate of whether Whitecloud is better than Stetcher rn? Plus you have Andrae to fill that roll of a small mobile defenceman. Andrae should be better than Stetcher too. I don’t care if Roslovic scored 20G every season of his career, because if he plays like Nylander away from the puck, I don’t want him.

It’s called having a balance. Klapka doesn’t even make opening roster. You have him on the third line ????? Whitecloud is a bum. Getting 2.75m to be a 3rd pair Simon Benoit. Get real. 12pts plays 10mins a night if lucky but he’s a third liner lol lol you r a dreamer. It’s a trade that doesn’t move the needle makes u worse offensively.

I hate to say it Clarky but I agree with Champ on this one. Stecher doesn't get bullied off the puck because when he gets it he executes very quickly and adeptly exit zone passes. When the opposition is coming at us. He is the best D-man on our the team for closing the gap. That actually is one of Andrae's criticism is gap control. Possibly Stecher being of similar stature (Slightly bigger than Andrae) he can tutor him a bit on that aspect. And yes for bang for the buck Stecher is a steal. Whitecloud can unload with hits (As Knies knows) but he also commits early on some and gets hung out to dry.



Re: Klapka..... No no no ten times no. My best man has season tickets to the Flames and he says he has never seen a guy spend so much time on the ice. Literally..... he falls more than any player he said he was watched play the game. And as a fighter.... he is actually not very good. He is big but is not a good fighter even though he trys. He will never be in the league of guys like Olivier, Wilson, Jeannot and Kastelic that not only are very very good fighters, but also very good hockey players as well.

I am not a fan of Roslovic either but we can do better than Klapka.
