Tampa doesn't have the cap room to take these players on and they don't have a first round pick until the 2026 season as they have traded them away.

I agree Samsonov needs to go and perhaps Domi (I would wait until the trade deadline to trade him) but I don't see anyone giving up a 1st rounder for them. The Leafs desperately need defencemen who are big and can actually play the position without getting pushed around. One player I think could be traded if they waive their M-NTC is Marner.

Vasilievski will be back in a few weeks.
I do not imagine the Lightning feel they need either Samsonov ($3.4) or Domi ($3)
Particularly for a 1st round pick.
I’m also quite sure that Tampa does not have $6.5 million in cap space to absorb those two.

Hrenlkin you can’t keep a guy around who sucks for 82 games at 3 million for what he MIGHT do in the playoffs.
