* Henrique & Zuccarello stabilize the 3rd line improves it defensively & still gives the Leafs depth scoring, two smart skilled veteran players with something left to offer along with leadership & the desire to win. Stylistically Knies would be a better fit on 3rd line, Domi being more of a play maker, seems to excel particularly playing with highly skilled players. What you get out of Domi seems like level of play co relates to the line mates he plays with, the better the skill level of his linemates the better Domi plays.

Where Knies has a different identity & skillet because he offers some physicality & defensively a good two way player that can play a variety of roles. Knies would be a really nice fit playing with Henrique & Zuccarello, that would be a fun line that could forecheck & also play along the boards well.

Some people may say that but not GM's & NHL players, they know that Zuccarello is one of the most underrated players in the league. Still a very productive skilled player, & on occassion still a game breaker as is a Henrique. That is big in the playoffs. Bogosian not a big piece but defense you pay a premium to acquire, those player's not as readily available as a top or bottom 6 forward. You have to give up something to get something.
