Get the deal with Marner done! Let us see what kind of team we have till trade deadline. If we need to make a tweek here or there hopefully we can. I like the moves Dubas pulled off after season's end. Around Xmas we should know what to expect to watch for!!

This will not happen! Lanie is a skreaky hockey player! I would like to see the maple leafs get a player that has a wicked slapshot or a great one-timer. But laine is way to steaky of a player.

This will never happen. Much as it is likeable trade, it would be turned down by both clubs. Maple leafs need to sign Marner for now! Then let us see what needs to be done at trade deadline?

The Maple Leafs would loose in this deal. Brady and Mitch played together. Besides, without John Tavares, Marner does not get 94 points! I noticed Marner's first 2 years of point production. It was 60 per season. In refferance should the Maple leafs trade him? You keep him for a short term deal. Go for the cup NOW! Dubas has the talent on his team. Marner is asking for way to much money! He and his agent need to realise, is all the negatives Mitch still needs to improve on in his game. To me Mitch is worth 9.5 million 9.75 million tops! This gives the maple leafs cap room money left over. Possibly to make another trade?
