Cozens has potential to be 2nd line center so trade Cowan and minten they are prospects.

Everyone loves there prospects

Cozens is carrying a $7.1 million dollar cap hit for at least the next 5 years.
Buffalo is not going to retain 50% of $7.1 million.
Cozens cap hit also means Leafs need to send back a combination of Domi $3.75 x 3 more years), Kampf ($2.4 x 2), Jarnkrok ($2.1 x 1), Reaves ($1.35 x 1) to allow Cozens to fit under Leafs cap.

Cozens is WAY WAY over paid for what he brings to a team, sure he is young but 7 plus mil a year for what he produces is just not worth it.
