Utah picks up a veteran LW for a playoff push along with a higher pick then what they give.

Buffalo gets Robertson and a pick for a pending UFA.

Toronto gets McBain. Can now move on from Reaves and have a 3rd line of McMann, Domi and McBain.

Not sure that Zucker and a 3rd round pick are enough to pry McBain out of Utah’s lineup.

I would think Utah might prefer Robertson (23) to Zucker (33 in three weeks) and a 2nd instead of a 3rd round pick.
Don’t need Buffalo in the mix?

Calvo. McBain has played mostly centre in his career.

As far as McBain's value goes - Ari got him for a mid 2nd round pick. 47th overall. Hunter Haight. A wildcard to ever make the NHL. I would change the 3rd from Toronto to a 1st and be fine with it if that is what it took. That's me though.
