Overall this would free up 2.4m for the following 3 seasons in cap space for Columbus. They get an NHL ready winger with cost control, a prospect, and a 1st.

Toronto gets a solid defenseman to play with McCabe. And getsv3.5 years of Elvis to not wear down will so fast.

Merzlikins has like 4 years left in his deal. Don’t think they will retain for that long. Plus we don’t need a goalie for that long. We need someone for a year and a half. Just to get some games under Wolls belt with a vet as a back up and enough time for Hildeby to develop in the AHL and make the jump with Woll. IMO.

I really don't want Elvis. Both he and Korpisalo played in a Torts system and looked good because of it.

That playoff series had nothing tk do with goalies. They played Torts hockey and made sure whoever was in net never saw a high danger chance.

Philly has been playing Risto on the third pair to try to prop up his numbers, and they still aren't good.

I am good with Woll and Jones. What I wanted from the start. Both are much quieter in the net than Sammy. I wish we had of moved Sammy at the start of the season when he had some value still.
