For those saying Kapenen is better than Moore right now just stop that line of Moore Mikeyhev and Kerfoot put up 5 points last game will it continue of course not but Moore is a guy that plays with a lot of heart Kapanen is a good player but my point is I don't think he will get third line minutes when Hyman comes back I mean he's playing with jt and marner and hasn't done jack neither has the other two really but I think we need to get bigger and meaner Watson is a 20 goal guy and a decent player throws the body and mcquaid just is an enforcer the would play bottom pairing

i think babcock should try mikhelev with matthews and move johnsson with tavares then you got 3rd line of Moore Kerfoot Kapanen

now by your reasoning on watson if he is meaner and scores 20 then why would nashville give him up along with a 3rd to get Kapanen who you think has no heart. seems like nashville would be asking for the extra incentive to make this deal by your reasoning anyways.

Craigger I agree moving Kapanen down to the 3rd line and moving Moore over to the left side may be the best option right now as for the trade Watson is a big kid and would fit nicely in our bottom six he’s cheaper Nashville adds the pic because Kapanen has term and Watson does not like I said before this deal doesn’t have anything to do with Kapenen costing us our last game but more so why Hyman gets back I’d like to see the Moore Kerfoot Mikeyhev line stay together and like brown you can’t pay a guy over 2 mill to play on your fourth line mcquaid would be a guy to throw in that mix of rotating players for when we play teams like Boston.

Watson isn’t a 20 goal guy. Lol. Best he ever got is 14. So that’s some pretty wild rounding up there. Lol. This is terrible for the Leafs. Watson is only signed for this year and becomes UFA after, so even the contracts are way off. If we are going to “dump” Kapanen for a guy with heart, at least go for one that is signed long term and actually knows what he is doing (Sissons) . Sissons brings a different skill set to the team than Kapanen, and is a true third line player. An effective two-way player with good hockey smarts, he would be a more effective third line shutdown player that we obviously need to help prevent collapses like that from continuing to happen. He’s also cheaper than Kapanen as well.

I’ve already explained it that’s why Nashville adds a pick Kapanen doesn’t add a whole lot to the leafs imo he’s fast and a decent penalty killer we need toughness sissons is an ok player but at 7 years no thanks like I said the leafs currently have no one to protect our young stars which will end up having no success in the playoffs long term.

Again. 3 games in the hate begins. I don't understand lol why do we hate him so much now. He's never played top line before and never played LW. For a player to switch sides it takes alot. Very talented players struggle with it a lot of the time and Kapanen is a good, not great player. Let's all relax.

Always the same with leafs fans lol. Someone scores 50 goals then makes a bad play once so we hate him. Then he gets a hat trick so we love him. #overraction.
